The rate of degradation of Zero® Balls depends on the temperature and microbial levels of the water environment the balls are being hit into. Zero® Balls degrade faster when the water is warmer and the microbial level is higher. In our own testing, the Zero® ball completely degraded in under 10 days when placed in the Chesapeake Bay. It should be expected that a Zero® ball will completely degrade within three weeks, regardless of conditions.

The main ingredient in Zero® Balls is Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA or PVOH). The PVA in Zero® Balls are tested as water safe by TUV Austria, a leading international testing authority. This PVA is mixed with our proprietary blend of biodegradable materials to make up the entirety of the ball.

Zero® Balls are more prone to shattering at golf club impact in colder temperatures. We recommend storing Zero® Balls at room temperature.

Orders for the USA, Canada, and Mexico receive free standard shipping. Orders outside of these countries have a shipping fee of $50 per item.
