Ryder Cup Captains Take Aim At GolfShotBot Floating Golf Target

As the 2025 Ryder Cup begins this week at Bethpage Black, we’re revisiting one of the most unique activations we’ve ever been a part of.

One year ago, Splash City Golf partnered with the PGA and the Ryder Cup to deliver a waterfront golf experience unlike any other. Captains Luke Donald and Keegan Bradley boarded a private yacht in New York Harbor for a special event that brought the energy of the Ryder Cup directly to the water.

From the deck of the yacht, both captains hit biodegradable golf balls toward a GolfShotBot™ Floating Golf Target placed in the harbor. With the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty as a backdrop, the moment captured the imagination of golf fans and media outlets alike.

Our team provided the biodegradable golf balls, the floating target, and the crew to manage on-water logistics. The event created a striking visual and served as a memorable way to build excitement ahead of the 2025 tournament.

It was a privilege to have our products featured in such a high-profile setting. This experience showcases how our ZERO® Biodegradable Golf Balls and GolfShotBot Floating Golf Targets can help brands and organizations create unforgettable moments in waterfront locations.

As Ryder Cup fever kicks into high gear, we’re proud to reflect on this collaboration and the role we played in bringing golf to one of the most iconic harbors in the world.
